Just sitting here after some Asahi Extra Drys and doing this instead of working. The
trip(Keys trip in April) was truly amazing for me...good  times and I enjoyed hanging out
at the store!  Looking forward to the next trip.

Here is a little snirp about the salmon run and some pictures, Enjoy!

Left Vancouver British Columbia with a lab mate and his cousin heading for the West
Coast of Vancouver Island. 12 hours later we were in Courtenay for a two hour sleep
and then 4 more hours to Fair Harbour and a 1 hour boat ride to Kyuquot. There we
stored up on food had some beer, enjoyed the scenery and outfitted the Northern
Bounty.

She was to be our home, income, and provider the next three days on our trip down
(South) the western coast of Vancouver Island from Kyuquot to Ucluett. On the trip the
Pacific proved its name sake 'the peaceable one' as it was clear sailing with sunny
days. The Northern Bounty can make 8 knots on her prime and we had two days of
non-stop navigating the coastline. Times have never been better as we caught our fill of
Spring (Chinook) Salmon and the eating was good, real good.

The slow times were spent shooting shotguns and 20-2s off the stern, I spent most of
my time taking the captains seat and using the global navigation system. Times were
good, as good as they can be in the Pacific Northwest but give me my hometown
Florida flats any day! The most productive in the world with the boys to slam it! ..

Enjoy the pictures!
